Following on from the news yesterday that Staniforth has been appointed to publicise Buy Art Fair, comes the announcement that Glorious Creative are handling the event’s advertising brief.
The Buy Art Fair work
The agency won the business following a pitch against unnamed competition and has produced the pictured work to promote Buy Art Fair to potential buyers.

Tom Shaughnessy, design director at Glorious, said of the task: “This is a great project for us – a brand new launch.

“We chose a traditional typeface which also has a flourish to it – it’s ideal for an art fair.

“The red sticker of the identity comes from the ‘Sold’ sticker placed on the artwork.

“The brief was to emphasise the new demand for original art, right across the board. When creating the campaign we wanted to mix the traditional with the new – gilt frames with Victorian fireplaces and loft apartments, while asking people what they would buy for their walls.”
