Two agencies from the region have managed to scoop some coveted silverware at the relaunched Marketing Design Awards in London.
Merseyside's Corporate Culture and Manchester's True North were revealed as winners at a ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, picking up gongs for their respective efforts on projects for Merseyside PCT and the Tate Liverpool.Art critic and TV presenter Andrew Graham-Dixon presented the accolades. True North's prize is not the first for its identity work for the 2008 Gustav Klimt exhibition at the Tate (pictured) - a project that also earned the team a Design Week Benchmark award in the scheme's last outing (making the agency the only regional recipient this year). Alan Herron, Michael Rigby, Lucy Gascoigne and Trudy Tabernor created the branding for the firm.
