Hard cheese and more for Brazen | Print |  Email to a friend
Friday, 25 July 2008

Brazen has been appointed to promote Cheshire Cheese following a non-competitive pitch.

The 5 figure account, previously help by Wild Card, will mean the consumer agency will focus on regional and national exposure of the crumbly cheese.

Cheshire is on of the country’s oldest cheeses with a first mention in the Domesday Book in 11th century.

Brazen’s team of cheese lovers caused a stink when their Stilton hat made a debut at Royal Ascot, not to mention their National Cheese on Toast Day for Lancashire cheese.

Having never visited Brazen’s HQ, I hope it's something like this… (PS if this gets used in the campaign How-Do will be demanding a slice!).

"A cheese as individual as ours really demands a PR agency with the same quality – which is just what we found with Brazen," said Carole Baker, senior product manager at The Cheese Company.

"Cheshire Cheese is one of our region’s best known products and we’re thrilled to be working with such an amazing brand," added Brazen co-founder and director Emma Beck.

In addition to Cheshire Cheese, Brazen has also been signed up by two non-dairy companies, Xantium, the UK’s first carbon zero apartment building which is to be built in the Northern Quarter.

And CineBingo have appointed Brazen to launch their first in-cinema bingo experience in the UK.

Set in a cinema environment, CineBingo transforms the bingo experience through the big cinema screen with electronic consoles that players use to play the game and also features a live host.  CineBingo will launch at the Odeon cinema at the Trafford Centre in September 2008.
