Bell Pottinger North has invested in its healthcare division with the appointment of two new recruits, both of whom are trained journalists.

Khatun: a new face at BPN

The Macclesfield-based agency, a previous advisor to ex-Man City supremo Thaksin Shinawatra, has taken on Caroline Gidman, a former Sunday Times writer, and Halima Khatun, an experienced print and broadcast professional.

They will now work under healthcare director Vicki Baxter across a portfolio of NHS and private sector clients.

Baxter said she was delighted with the appointments, adding: “Caroline and Halima bring different skills and levels of experience to Bell Pottinger, and they complement each other, and the healthcare team, very well.”
