Hearing aid distributor Amplifon hires RMS for UK rebrand | Print |  Email to a friend

Amplifon, which promotes itself as the world’s leading distributor of hearing aids, has appointed RMS PR to handle the media relations related to its UK rebrand which starts this month.

The company has historically traded under a number of brands on the UK high street but will gradually now come together under the sole Amplifon brand. The company currently has almost 150 stores across the UK and plans further store openings over the next year.

Amplifon, which promotes itself as the world’s leading distributor of hearing aids, has appointed RMS PR to handle the media relations related to its UK rebrand which starts this month.
RMS has already taken journalists from business and health publications to attend the opening of Amplifon’s first ‘new look’ concept store in Verona.

Amplifon has over 5,600 branches across Europe and claims to serve over half a million customers a year.
 
Mark Holmes, brand marketing manager for Amplifon said: “Following the rebrand, we’re keen to communicate our status as the market leader for dedicated hearing aid specialists in the UK.”

The business was introduced to RMS through a referral rather than a competitive pitch.
