Appleby Bowers has recruited Ian Reynolds to the role of senior account director as it looks to bolster its PR division.

Reynolds: a man of many talents
Reynolds has a diverse breadth of experience that takes in agencies such as Communiqué, Meredith Thomas and Cartmel, as well as a four-year stint with business and industry caterer Compass Services, where he was a special projects director.

Interestingly, and perhaps rather bizarrely, he’s also a published author, poet and has released three albums of music… culminating in an appearance at Glastonbury Festival in 2007. We kid you not.

Despite having all these varied claims to fame Reynolds is probably best regarded for the work he produced during a recent tenure at MIDAS, where he was editorial director of business magazine Ten.

Commenting on his arrival at the firm agency MD Bernie Bowers said: “Ian offers a unique mixture of creativity and specific business sector experience, coupled to excellent writing skills.

“We want to build on the PR success we’ve enjoyed over the past twelve years and Ian is the ideal candidate to take the business forward.”
