Business to business brand and communications firm IAS has picked up the brief to promote the national trade body the Federation of Master Builders. The agency claims the account will be worth in the region of £500,000.
IAS, which employs 60 staff out of its Bollington offices, apparently beat eight other agencies to the wide-ranging task. Morrice: not a fan of beer and sweeties The firm will now set about re-branding the organisation, before launching a wave of communication and marketing material to target new members. This will also work to reinforce the body’s ‘no-nonsense’ stance with regard to the cowboys operating in the building business. Speaking of no-nonsense... Rob Morrice, the MD of the agency, said of the win: “Most so called sexy ad agencies turn their nose up at the construction sector and get their kicks out of beer and sweeties – but not us. “We’ve been the country’s leading construction agency since the pyramids were built. So you can imagine that when a blue-chip account like FMB came up for grabs, there’s no way we were going to be happy if we didn’t win it. “Our objective for the account is simple – to position the Federation Of Master Builders as the top trade body in the industry with the best range of member benefits. Because they are, and they have.” www.iasb2b.com Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
