Social marketing agency ICE is following through on its ambitious expansion plans for 2009 and has now opened its first base in the South East of the country. The move marks the second regional offshoot for the Wirral-headquartered firm, which only opened the doors of its Bristol operation in February this year.
ICE has been growing in stature - both numbers and reputation wise - steadily thanks to a specialism that has seen it capture work from numerous local authorities, PCTs and NHS Trusts. Jackson: national ambitions It is now looking to further exploit opportunities in the South East region (it already works with Swale Borough Council, NHS West Kent and West Kent Borough Council) and has recruited a team capable of offering expertise across strategy, PR, design and digital channels.Jimmy Butchart is leading the office as business development director and is joined by business development manager Suzanne Goldenberg and senior social marketing practitioner Hannah Wallington. Agency chief executive Stuart Jackson said of the move into the region: "ICE’s development into the South East underlines our continued commitment to supporting long-term, positive behavioural change. "We want to listen to the needs of communities and their leaders. We believe that understanding a community is essential, which is why our programme of localisation will continue to be our priority." ICE is also working with the Department of Health and was recently appointed to launch the Talent Map project. www.icecreates.com Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
