The IoD (Institute of Directors) North West has moved its PR and promotional account to marketing agency MC2 in Manchester.
Seven agencies from around the region pitched for the account. In addition to MC2, the others were Smith & Smith, the ‘incumbent’ Marketing Projects of Chester, Factory Communications in Liverpool, Roland Dransfield, Fido and Andrew Crosby.
Wolfe Marketing Projects (MP) had held the business for five years and Laura Wolfe, regional director of the IoD said that both she and Jane Harrard-Roberts of MP had agreed that it was perhaps time to move on.
The IoD is a non political organisation which has over 3000 members in the North West.
Mike Perls, founder and managing director of MC2 will be joining the IoD’s regional committee.
Wolfe said: “MC2 impressed us, not only through their client portfolio but also through their ability to understand our mission as an organisation. We need a PR agency we can trust to deliver our strategy and MC2’s expertise, reputation and professionalism made them stand out.” Perls added: “We look forward to reinforcing the IoD’s position as a voice of the North West’s business community.”
The contract has been awarded on a one year basis initially.
