The agency last week won the Chairman’s gong at the Chip Shop Awards in Edinburgh, while also picking up a ‘chip’ and a ‘vinegar’ for its creative efforts.

In addition, How-Do’ers that were paying close attention to the nominations for the CIPR’s Pride awards will have noticed Lake’s name in the ‘best publication’ category for its annual report for Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board.

The success has led MD Barry Glinister to comment: “It is a testament to our creative expertise that on the anniversary of our tenth year we’re being recognised in these awards.”

In news over at Mere, the agency has just bolstered its ranks with the signing of Tania Harasimiuk as business development manager.

Harasimiuk, until recently an account director for Dubai’s Asda’a Public Relations, has been brought on to spearhead the growth of the business.

Alongside Asda’a she has also enjoyed tenures at Headline PR, The Creative Partnership and BDS Beechwood – experience that has seen her gain time with a roll call of clients such as Starbucks, Boots, Nestlé, HMV and Buena Vista International.
