Creative agency Lake, a division of Mere Communications, has won a community communications project from Birmingham city for the Ladywood district of the city.
Clare Short walking in Ladywood Lake has been working with Encamms, the Wigan based organisation which runs the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, for five years. The campaign’s strapline is ‘Ladywood And Proud’ and focuses on various littering and environmental issues. The awareness campaign includes posters and street signage and incorporates local variations on the theme, such as ‘Nechells And Proud’. Lake managing director Barry Glinister said: “We have built up a considerable amount of experience in this area and it is rewarding to use that experience on other campaigns such as this one, especially at a time when the environment is so high on the public agenda.”
