Liquid confirms win of entire Medicash marketing account | Print |  Email to a friend
Wednesday, 09 April 2008
After over four years of working together on various projects, Liverpool-based agency Liquid has been appointed as the sole marketing services supplier for healthcare cash provider Medicash.

The two firms started working together on ad-hoc design projects in September 2003, with the agency incrementally increasing its workload from that point onwards.

After over four years of working together on various projects Liverpool-based agency Liquid has been appointed as the sole marketing services supplier for healthcare cash provider Medicash.
Liquid asset: creative for Medicash
Late last year Liquid was invited to pitch for the consolidated marketing account and has now confirmed it has collected the business.

The spend for the client is currently unknown, but it is believed to be substantial and increasing, as Medicash looks to expand the awareness of its brand further out from its North West base.

It is also understand that, with this in mind, the client was keen to dispense with its roster of agencies and bring the entire business under one roof for a concerted, centralised push.

In a release about the win Steve McGauley, Liquid’s creative director, said the firm was working on “a complete re-branding, including creating a new logo, literature, a website, direct mail and advertising… everything basically. You name it, Liquid is working on it.”

He added: “It's something we're very excited about. Medicash are very approachable, open to new ideas and great to work with. It was an account we were very eager to win. We're delighted."

Medicash, which is a not for profit organisation, is one of the oldest and largest cash plan providers in the country. It aims to provide positive health care plans and actively encourages its members to stay fit and take better care of themselves.
