Liquid sees off three agencies to win National Museums Liverpool | Print |  Email to a friend
Friday, 23 November 2007
Liverpool agency Liquid has won the account to promote National Museums Liverpool in 2008. NML brings together nine museums under its umbrella.

NML is the only national English museums group based outside London The nine museums are: World Museum Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, National Conservation Centre, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Sudley House, Merseyside Maritime Museum, Customs & Excise Museum, International Slavery Museum and the Museum of Liverpool.

Liquid won the business in competition with a number of other undisclosed regional agencies. The work, which will commence in January in parallel with the Capital of Culture celebrations, will encompass a broad spread of advertising media.

The agency was founded in London in 2000 by managing director Chris Mitchell. In 2003 the agency relocated to Liverpool for the “quality of life” said Mitchell. There are presently 16 staff at Liquid which means it is comfortably one of the city’s larger agencies.

Winning the business is unusual for the agency as the bulk of its accounts are derived from national, non Liverpool based clients such as Black & Decker, Barbour, Fuji and Lloyds TSB.
