An advertising campaign created by Loaf Creative for the Lancashire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership and NHS has led to a 200% increase in calls for advice in the first 3 months.
It comes as a review of health marketing could relax the rules on condom and abortion adverts in broadcasting.
The marketing features on buses and Adshels as well as a leaflet which was distributed by nurses and sexual health workers.
"The designs that Loaf have produced for the Lancashire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership aimed at promoting sexual health services to young people across the county have been extremely successful,” said Wendy Hemsworth from the Lancashire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership.
“The design of the posters for the 0845 campaign in Lancaster and Morecambe has been particularly successful as posters and internal bus headers. We are already planning the next influx of advertising for the summer of 2009."

The campaign comes as media watchdogs review the rules on condom and abortion commercials on radio and television.
"It is likely that any initiative to protect young people from the perils of sexual health is going to be controversial,” explained Dave Mullen and Alan Houghton, co-directors at Loaf.
"But the figures speak for themselves - society cannot stand by and allow ignorance to ruin the lives of thousands of young people every year.”
The latest stage of their campaign is set to go live this summer.
