The agency had enjoyed a three year tenure on the business since beating London based Fallon and FCB to the task back in 2005.
In that time the brand made considerable headway in the sector, gaining a following outside of its traditional base in the north of the country and climbing up to the position of number three tea brand in the UK.
No one at the agency was available to directly comment on the story.
The client was on holiday when How-Do phoned to confirm the account move.
It has now been rumoured that Taylors appointed new agency BMB without a pitch, following on from a decision to increase marketing spend on the back of the growing nationwide popularity of the brand.
