Adam Rix, one of the creative heads at Manchester's LOVE, has left the agency to start life as a freelancer.
Rix has been at the firm for four and half years, starting out with the agency as designer and moving upwards through the ranks, fuelled by an awards tally of around 30 gongs.
Most recently he was awarded the title of 'designer of the year' at the Roses Design Awards.
Specialising in design, art direction and branding Rix is launching himself with a new website designed by Jono Brain, LOVE's ex-technical director, who also left the agency recently to establish his own business.
Rix has worked with a broad range of the agency's highest profile clients, including Gola, Umbro, BBC, Nike, Nandos, Bruntwood and Manchester City FC.
He left the agency on Friday.
In related news, Brain has also just launched the new website for another LOVE offshoot Music, the design agency formed by former creative director Dave Simpson.
