Although Colin Lynch appears to be genuinely “excited” about his new job with Manchester’s CREATION, you can’t help but think he might be left wondering about what might have been.
Lynch The 36 year old joins the Alvaston Media owned operation from Morris Nicholson Cartwright in Hale, moving up the agency pecking order from senior art director to creative director. However, had he been luckier in March this year you get the feeling that he would have jumped off the career ladder altogether... jumped off into a great big pile of cash. Lynch was the runner up in the second series of Ant and Dec’s game show vehicle PokerFace, narrowly missing out on the million pound top prize netted by 42 year old Dominic Jackson. (Not the sort of thing he probably wants to be perpetually reminded about, so perhaps we’d better move on – ed). Alongside his 15 minutes of TV fame the Canadian born and raised Lynch has an established 15 year agency pedigree, having worked first for Young and Rubicam, before rising to the position of creative director with the Northern Lights Communications Group He now joins CREATION as part of their continued expansion drive following the agency’s acquisition by Alvaston in January this year. Mark Brown, CREATION’s MD, said that he was “thrilled” to welcome Colin to the team. http://www.creationadm.com/ Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
