Made in Manchester Productions will be handling the media, PR and marketing for the city’s 24:7 Theatre Festival.
In addition to this, they will be recording events and turning some of the plays into online radio teasers. Made in Manchester “Writers and actors rarely get the chance to use radio for their work because opportunities to do radio drama and comedy are so far and few between in this country,” explained creative director Ashley Byrne. “Yet radio is where some of the most successful brands began! It’s a great medium and fits some of the 24:7 plays perfectly.”Made in Manchester managed the public relations for the FINA World Swimming Championships – something which former Olympian and company co-founder James Hickman knows a lot about. The festival is a showcase for new writing talent and puts plays in venues around the city, it runs from July 21st. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
