Kitchen company Magnet, based in Darlington, is seeing presentations from four Manchester agencies over the coming fortnight.
The media business is believed to be worth around £7.5m in spend. Universal McCann Manchester, Magnet’s current agency, is one of the four agencies.
Magnet’s marketing co-ordinator Alison Tracey told How-Do that the company didn’t wish to disclose the identities of the four beyond saying McCanns had been invited to repitch.
Tracey expected a decision would be made within the next fortnight.
The agency review follows the departure of the former marketing director six months ago.
Magnet's advertising is typically characterised by sales, special offers and local promotions.
