SKV MD Andy Spinoza has told How-Do that he is looking to substantially swell the headcount at his Manchester city centre firm, after recent PR, social media and film production success.
Spinoza: expansion plans
At present the agency employs 15 members of staff, but Spinoza and his co-directors are looking to add an additional five new starters, with three new PR and social media roles (two senior, one junior) up for grabs and two further positions in the firm's video production division.

“Social media and moving image content are increasingly on clients’ shopping lists, as well as traditional PR," he noted, when explaining the evolving business model at SKV.

The agency has recently scored social media and PR contracts with clients such as Leonard Curtis, CityCo and Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, while film production briefs have been secured from names such as Marketing Manchester, NHS, Midas and Swinton insurance.

This latter development will have, no doubt, followed the team's widely acclaimed Blackpool work, which scored widespread coverage for the client and secured multiple awards for the team.

The agency's expansion into the social media domain is seemingly in keeping with a wider trend seen across the sector, as evidenced by rival agency Tangerine's acquisition of Juice Digital last week.
