Manchester 235 launches sporting events |

Manchester 235, the casino based on Deansgate, has signed up Fuse SPORT to launch a series of sporting events at the casino over the coming months.
The first event takes place tomorrow (Wednesday 2 May) when Dave Clarke of Sky Sports will compere the evening’s live football entertainment together match commentators Alex Stepney and Bryan Robson.
A number of further sportsman evenings related to football and boxing initially have already been booked.
Andy Orr, managing director of Mcr 235 said: “This is the latest and most exciting project that Fuse have created for us and demonstrates that Mancunians love a good night, they like to bet and of course love their sport.”
Ben Haworth, a director of Fuse said: “Our sportsmen’s’ nights will not be the traditional soup, cigar and speech, but rather something that will become an integral part of Manchester’s sports and social diary.”
Fuse was established in August 2006 by Mark Dixon and three colleagues. The sports marketing agency works with Paddy Power, Coral, 442 magazine, AOL and Northern Rock.
