McCanns airs new Holts Tyreweld commercial with a £350k campaign | Print |  Email to a friend

McCanns in Prestbury has produced an animated 30-second commercial for Holts Tyreweld, with voice-overs from Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson and Caroline Quentin.

The TV commercial focuses on ‘one of motoring’s best-kept secrets – Tyreweld’s ability to seal a puncture in seconds’. The creative runs under the strapline ‘The spare wheel in a can’.
 
David Hales, European marketing manager at Honeywell Consumer Product Group said: “With over 28 million cars in the UK, it is estimated that there is a one in four chance of vehicles developing a puncture.  That being the case we believe Tyreweld is a must have for every car’s first aid kit.”

The commercials air this week for a month on ITV, E4, Channel 5, GMTV, ITV 2, Channel 4 and BSkyB.

The production company was Tomboy Films and Universal, McCanns’ media agency, planned and bought the space.
