Mediaburst helps SMS compliance |

Cheshire's Mediaburst has developed a best practice guide to using phone-paid services. It's also announced the appointment of Dawn Hedley as compliance officer.
The guide is downloadable from their website and is aimed at companies which use SMS promotions. It lists the do's and don'ts of mobile marketing campaigns and Mediaburst hope it will encourage and establish a culture of compliance in the industry.  Hedley Reviewed by telecoms regulator Phonepay Plus, it is the first major initiative from Hedley who joined the company in 2003 as operations manager. "Brands today face a challenge keeping up with the complex regulations surrounding phone-paid services," says Hedley.
"Mediaburst's best practice guide will help brands and agencies alike to create compliant mobile marketing promotions, avoid costly investigations and build confidence with the consumer."
