Mediavest Manchester negotiates £5m Channel 4 sponsorship deal |

Mediavest has brokered a £5m sponsorship deal with Channel 4 for its client comparethemarket.com, as the new sponsor of the channel’s drama programming output.
The sponsorship will cover a number of programmes including the Sopranos, Shameless and Brothers and Sisters.
Mediavest Manchester works with the price comparison site’s owner, Budget Insurance based in Peterborough.
The deal was led and brokered by Mediavest’s specialist financial services team which is based in Manchester.
The creative work has been picked up by Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest in London. The total media spend on the business is forecast to be around £20m.
The Channel 4 deal, which will run for one year, starts this Wednesday 20 June.
comparethemarket.com replaces 118118 as Channel 4’s drama sponsor.
Another of Mediavest Manchester’s financial services clients, Admiral Insurance, whose brands include confused.com and elephant.co.uk, last week announced it was putting its £7m media account out to pitch.
