Mind blowing new MOSI work from driven | Print |  Email to a friend
Wednesday, 11 November 2009

First Leonardo Da Vinci's most famous painting was turned into a soap opera, now we see the Mona Lisa's head exploding.

Have our regional marketing services agencies got no respect?

We're kidding of course... in a way.

We're sure that our local firm's have the utmost regard for the world's ultimate Renaissance man - coming to a science and industry museum near you with the 'Da Vinci, The Genius' exhibition - but they do seem intent on fiddling with the master's work somewhat.

In the latest piece of promotion for MOSI's newest attraction, Wilmslow's driven has crafted a TV ad that aims to list Da Vinci's stunning array of talents, with mind blowing effect.

You can see what we mean below.

MOSI's head of business Tony Hill has called the ad "simple and powerful in equal measure" and believes that, when it breaks during Emmerdale this Friday, it should result in "a great demand for exhibition tickets."

The campaign will be running for four weeks and was booked through Mediacom North.

That actually made me jump! Too much coffee today maybe. Anyway, nice to see a strong ad that looks like it didn't cost a fortune for a change.
