Mines Advisory Group gets Pink support in Manchester

Manchester-based charity, Mines Advisory Group, has got the support of popstar Pink as she heads to the MEN Arena.

Mines Advisory Group gets Pink support in ManchesterFans can enter a competition to win VIP access-all-areas tickets to the concert and meet the singer.

Pink, who’s real name is Alecia Beth Moore, is supporting MAG’s Music Beats Mines fundraising campaign, which aims to raise money for clearing mines around the world.

She’s supporting the charity because one of her friends, Christina Bennike, works for MAG in Lebanon:

“Even though Alecia is a superstar and is mad busy on a world tour she remains really supportive of humanitarian causes, including MAG’s, and is dedicated to helping out wherever she can,” explained Bennike.

“Music Beats Mines is really picking up momentum now with Pink the latest star to get on board and spread the word to make some noise for peace. Next Friday will be absolutely brilliant, a true once in a lifetime opportunity to meet this amazing lady, so if you’re a fan get texting!

“You’ll be helping us help thousands of people struggling to recover from war, and might even make your dreams come true while you’re at it.”

The Music Beats Mines campaign has also got the backing of Manchester’s very own Elbow, who’s lead singer, Guy Garvey has recorded a YouTube message for the website.
