Digital marketing agency Moonfish is establishing a ‘usability lab’ which it claims will be the first of its kind created by a digital marketing agency outside London.
Corbelli-Withey A ‘usability lab’ tests visitors’ reactions and feedback to web sites.
Moonfish has built a new purpose designed lab, complete with microphones, cameras and the latest software so that it can record participants’ movements and actions on site together with audio commentary and film of the users carrying out their tests. Larraine Corbelli-Withey of Moonfish, said: “Before the usability testing is carried out, we work closely with clients to determine the precise needs and objectives for the website along with the different demographic groups that use the site. We then go through a rigorous testing phase which establishes whether the design is fit for purpose.
Moonfish was established in 1994 and has offices in Manchester and London.
