The footballing stars of Gyro International’s Manchester outfit have a new chief executive today as Richard Glasson, formerly chief operating officer, moves up to succeed the outgoing Gary Brine.
Gyro: b2b as usual Brine founded the business 18 years ago and is now looking to step back to focus on other projects. Glasson, who has been COO since 2002, takes over with immediate effect, while Richard Perry, MD of the group’s UK and Ireland businesses, in turn steps up to succeed him. A statement from Gyro said that the changes would have no effect, in terms of reorganisation, on the various agency offices (of which Manchester is the second biggest arm behind London) and that no other members of staff would be leaving the business. Gyro International claims to be Europe’s largest and fastest growing business-to-business agency, servicing clients such as Sony, Oracle, American Express, Hewlett Packard, Tate & Lyle and Virgin Atlantic. www.gyrointernational.com Something to add?
