Park Cakes has launched a new premium desert brand, Filthy, and has retained ad agency Chief, PR consultancy Connectpoint, designers Elmwood and web company Arrk to help promote the new range.
Oldham-based Park Cakes, previously a division of Northern Foods, was sold to private equity house Vision Capital in January this year. The company specialises in providing Marks & Spencer and other retailers with high end sandwiches, cakes and pastries.
The design for the new range has been created by Elmwood in Leeds and was unveiled at the BBC’s Good Food Show at Birmingham this week.
In addition to the web site - www.filthyfoodcompany.co.uk – there are plans to advertise the new brand on poster sites and a viral created by Connectpoint and Chief is due to be released next week.
Filthy is initially being sold exclusively through 200 plus Sainsbury’s stores. It is being pitched as a high-end chocolate product.
Connectpoint won the account without a pitch and the web site was built by Arrk in Manchester. www.connectpoint.co.uk www.arrkgroup.com Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
