North West firms win big in Business Link marketing overhaul
Business Link Northwest has just announced which companies will provide its marketing services for the next three years. The list of approved suppliers covers everything from public relations and event management to design and telemarketing.

The process had to be evaluated by an independent marketing consultant as well as their own procurement team.

Tenders were scored on cost and value for money, quality of work, the ability to deliver innovative, creative and high quality results alongside criteria relating to policies, procedures and financial status.

“We received a tremendous response, resulting in impressive submissions from small consultancies and large agencies alike,” explained Business Link Northwest’s Alastair Marsden.

“We believe we now have a panel of suppliers that will be able to deliver a full spectrum of marketing services over the next three years; enabling us to achieve our aim of helping the region’s businesses flourish and grow, and in turn contribute to the competitiveness and prosperity of the North West.”

The total value of the accounts is some £10m.
