Cheshire agency, driven, has been appointed to handle the brand strategy and communications for Equazen eye q following a 3-way pitch.
Equazen is an omega-3 supplement specialist, owned by Swiss pharmaceuticals company Vifor Pharma. “We were blown away by driven’s approach to the brief and their enthusiasm for the brand. We have a great new direction for Equazen to follow and fresh momentum to help us get there,” said Jane Wragg, Vifor Pharma head of marketing and sales. The “eye q” supplement first gained publicity when it was featured on 2 documentaries by Professor Robert Winston, Child of our time and The human mind. The Daily Mail dubbed it The Cleverness Capsule. “There is a big opportunity for Equazen to regain its thought leadership of the category. All the brands in the food supplements market are now restricted in what claims they can make, so we have created a new set of rules for Equazen to live by,” explained Graham Drury, partner at driven.
