Opening Doors to Cogent Sector Skills Council |

Congleton’s Opening Doors has been appointed by Cogent Sector Skills Council (SSC) to run a major research project targeting specialist chemical industries.
They will look at 500 companies based in the North East, which generate more than £10bn of sales.  Chemical industry "These studies are crucial to Cogent Sector Skills Council understanding the requirements of this manufacturing sector," said Mervin Dadd communications director.
"The output of the research will advise our strategic plans and our communications with the market."
Cogent SSC exists to help the chemicals and pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, nuclear, petroleum and polymer industries. It’s licensed by the Government to give employers in these sectors leadership and strategic action. It will be the first of 10 research studies that Opening Doors will conduct over the next 6 months.
