Pannone appoints Madhouse after 10-way pitch | Print |  Email to a friend

Leading law firm Pannone LLP has appointed Madhouse as its lead creative agency after an extensive pitch process that saw ten of the region’s leading agencies fighting it out for the brief.
Leading law firm Pannone LLP has appointed Madhouse as its lead creative agency after an extensive pitch process that saw ten of the region’s leading agencies fighting it out for the brief.

Madhouse will now be charged with developing the firm’s brand proposition as ‘the complete law firm’ and undertaking various advertising campaigns to push Pannone’s position in the regional marketplace.

Traditionally the firm - the only law business to ever appear in the top ten in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies – has focused its advertising on titles such as the MEN, Insider, EN and Cheshire Life and it is believed that Madhouse will be looking to continue this press-heavy activity.

At the same time Pannone is said to be keen to specifically market its offices in Hale and Alderley Edge, and this is expected to form a key part of the brief.

Speaking about the appointment Deborah Ascott-Jones, director of communications at Pannone, said of her new agency: “Madhouse impressed us with their creativity and their approach to understanding us and our business.

“The advertising concepts developed during the pitch process demonstrated their grasp of the key messages that will give us the stand out we require.”

Pannone has undergone substantial growth of late and now employs 780 staff members, including 380 specialist lawyers.

Jesus Christ - feels like an old gag - how many lawyers does it take to select an agency? I know lawyers bill by the hour but do you think they worked out how much agency time they clocked up on that one!

Good luck Madhouse, you're going to need it!

ten agencies called to pitch?? as a law firm you'd expect pannone to know the value of time, asking 10 agencies to pitch is ludicrous!
