The event usually takes place in Barcelona, but this year, it’s happening in Liverpool and thus allows How-Do the only chance this football season to mention Barcelona and Liverpool in the same sentence - we jest of course LFC fans.
Paver Smith was appointed as principal organiser of the congress and the agency has also been tasked with raising sponsorship.
“As a massive football fan I am very excited that we have been asked to create, manage and deliver this event,” said Martyn Best, Paver Smith director and Trustee of the Everton Former Players Foundation.
“It is bound to capture the imagination of many football fans throughout the region and indeed beyond, and the household names we are talking to will surely make this event one of the footballing highlights of World Cup year.”
It takes place on April 15th and 16th and the aim of the event is to talk to professional clubs about the benefits of having a former players’ foundation.
