Liverpool PR agency Paver Smith claims to have become the first Merseyside agency to secure the PRCA's consultancy management standard.
The standard, sometimes jokingly referred as "ISO 9001 on steroids", was designed to persuade PR agencies to adopt best practice in terms of their business management and processes. Paver Agency MD Dougal Paver said: "It's bloody hard to get and I can see why only 6% of UK PR agencies have achieved it. "But it's been worth the effort because it will underpin our growth and demonstrates to clients that ours is a nailed-down, proper business. It'll give us an edge in attracting the talent.” Given the agency has recently made an acquisition and says it is keen to do more, Paver added that: “Having tight systems and procedures means fewer wobbles when you integrate other businesses." www.paversmith.co.uk Something to add?
