Media agency, PHD North has announced two new launches with Activity Superstore and Silver Cross.
They became Silver Cross’ first ever media planning and buying agency and this is the first online advertising campaign for them.  Silver Cross PHD North planned and bought the media and Love provided the creative.They will use bound-in inserts in parenting titles and online activity for parents-to-be and young families. “Silver Cross is launching a number of innovative products in 2008 in addition to new stylish fabrics for our existing range of award winning nursery products. PHD North has developed a media strategy that will enable us to effectively market our 2008 range to our key target audiences by introducing new communications channels into our mix,” explained Jason Munslow, head of marketing at Silver Cross. PHD North has also become Activity Superstore’s first ever media agency. The company owns a range of websites, but to date much of these have been sold in store as gift experiences. PHD North have been commissioned to launch a new site (freshweekends.com) and focus online activity to drive people to the site. Matt Davis, Online Products Manager at Activity Superstore, said, “we have a big task ahead of us as well as a fantastic opportunity with our new site and are confident that the team at PHD North will help us to make it a success”.
