Powell gears up for karting venue | Print |  Email to a friend
Monday, 12 May 2008

Powell Communications is moving into the fast lane after picking up the PR and Marketing for Trafford Park’s karting venue, Daytona Manchester.

In addition to promoting it as a karting track, their brief is to make it a venue for corporate hospitality functions.

Powell gears up for karting venue
Daytona managing director Charles Graham said: “We were won over by the enthusiasm of the Powells’ team and their creative communications approach. If they can get the campaign moving as fast as they managed to drive their karts around the track at Daytona Manchester, we expect to see some fantastic results!”

“Daytona is a quality venue with wide ranging appeal to both corporate and consumer markets," said Brian Johnson, managing director at Powell Communications. "It also has a thriving junior section where budding Lewis Hamiltons learn the disciplines of motorsport. It’s an exciting brief for an exciting product.”
