Salford appoints Fido for tourism drive |

Fido PR has been appointed by Salford City Council to bring tourists to the city.
 Ting Tings Starting in August, the 6 month campaign will focus on sport & leisure, heritage, food & drink and arts & culture. Fido has just completed another project for the council to bring Lottery funding to Ordsall Hall. "With their extensive tourism and leisure experience we considered them the best agency to take on this new project," said Lindsey Hebden, Salford City Council’s tourism marketing manager. Islington Mill which gave birth to The Ting Tings will be a key part of the project, although less well known parts of Salford are likely to figure highly, including sausage making and its airport.
