In a development that will no doubt have many design and digital agencies in the region going varying shades of green, brand agency SASS has revealed that it has been appointed by Electronic Arts (EA) to work on its latest MONOPOLY game.
SASS toasts EA win The Hasbro classic is being brought to the small screen by EA’s ‘casual gaming label’ Bright Light Studios and SASS, based in leafy Mere, has been hard at work creating seven graphical user interfaces (GUI) for a series of themed environments within the title. These include ‘Future’, ‘Snowy Ice’ and ‘Jungle’. In handling the task SASS becomes the first external agency in the UK to be appointed by the gaming giant, and apparently only the second firm in the world that EA has outsourced such a high profile project to. In a statement from the agency, MD Graham Sass said the appointment demonstrated his team’s “design capabilities, creative excellence and hard-earned reputation for outstanding digital work.” He added that the brief from EA was “ challenging” and that “what we have delivered has surpassed all expectations.” SASS works across digital, design, PR, advertising, media and direct mediums. www.withsass.com Something to add?
