Sequoia is set to have the daunting task of marshalling together 4,000 wine drinkers in Edinburgh this October. Luckily they’ll be plenty of bottles on hand to hit if the team need to ‘wine-down’ a little.
Glass act from Sequoia The Chester-based agency, which turns over in the region of £3.5m, has been signed up to handle the creative and production brief for Oddbins 20th wine fair weekend. This is a wide-ranging task that includes everything from identity development, online and in-store promotion, through to event branding and customer support materials. The team, which has a relationship with the retailer stretching back ten years, will also be producing materials such as tickets, posters, banners, display systems, leaflets and staff livery. Speaking of the importance of the weekend to the Oddbins brand, marketing manager Bojana Kosanovic said: “Our constant challenge is to come up with a fresh and exciting approach to our annual wine fairs. “They are a vital customer touch-point and represent a true interactive experience with our brand and product range.” Sequoia has an acknowledged specialism in the retail sector and counts clients such as The Co-operative Food, Woolworths and Focus. www.sequoia-uk.net
