The position has been newly created as the company brings its public relations in-house.
“This role is an incredible opportunity for me, and perfect for a real self-starter,” said Sharp.
“I cannot wait to get to grips with all the exciting projects including the 2009 launch of the World Series of poker Europe which is also owned by Harrah’s and more specifically change the public perception of casinos in the UK. I also seem to have developed a major penchant for poker (should my PR career fail I think I know my vocation!).”
“We are delighted to have Lucy on board. Her wealth of experience in the retail sector, amazing contacts and endless energy and enthusiasm are exactly what we had envisioned in this vital role,” added Marty Goldman, chief marketing director at LCI.
LCI owns 10 clubs in the UK, including Manchester235.
