SKV Communications has signed up as a ‘corporate member’ sponsor for the upcoming Manchester International Festival - the only marketing and communications firm to do so.

Wainwright joins SKV at MIF
The second MIF takes place in the city form 2 to 19 July and will be showcasing a programme of new and original work that is set to take in Rufus Wainwright’s debut opera and Everybody Loves a Winner; a freshly-penned play by Neil Bartlett that will see bingo arriving at the Royal Exchange theatre.

SKV MD Andy Spinoza said of the deal: “Since the agency’s formation in 1998, we have been right at the heart of Manchester’s cultural life.
 
“Now it is great to be putting something back into the creative scene. We’re looking forward to being part of the tremendous buzz and international profile the second MIF is bringing to the city.”

The first MIF in 2007 attracted over 200,000 visitors to the city and made an estimated economic impact of £28.8 million.
