Well known new business man-about-town Duncan Slater is believed to be on the brink of leaving his role at Leeds’ Poulters for a new position at design agency Origin.
Slater, a veteran of the North West agency scene, has been in the new business seat at Poulters for the last two years. Within that time the agency itself has gone through significant change, most notably in ownership, but the new business turnover has been healthy, with big names such as Miele, Manchester United and Thresher being welcomed through the doors. However, it now looks like the ex-BJL, CheethamBell and Attik man is set to return to this side of the Pennines, taking on a business development director position at the relatively low profile, but respected, design house. In doing so he will partner up with the agency’s award winning creative director Mark Bottomley, himself a fellow colleague of Slater’s at CBJWT. Slater himself refused to comment on the move when contacted by How-Do, but it is believed that he will join the agency at its Cheadle base in mid-November. His brief is undoubtedly set to include growing the firm’s profile as well as existing and new accounts. http://www.origincreativedesign.com Something to add?
