Soreen has appointed Tangerine to handle its public relations, as it prepares to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.
The Manchester agency’s role will be to promote the up-coming landmark and run its consumer and trade press office.
Tangerine will also be pushing the malt loaf onto a new, younger audience and trying to whet the appetites of lapsed customers.
“We have tasked Tangerine with putting Soreen firmly back on consumers’ shopping lists, as well as supporting our relationships with trade buyers,” explained Sarah-Louise Heslop, marketing manager for Soreen.
“Soreen is entering an exciting new phase of development and has a strong new management team in place to ensure the brand achieves its growth potential.”
The company is also looking to launch new products.
“Everybody has a Soreen story or moment to share and with so much nostalgia associated with the brand, we can’t wait to get started,” added Sandy Lindsay, group MD, Tangerine PR.
