Cheshire’s Souters has been taken on by the NWDA’s Food Northwest initiative and will now hold a place on its supplier framework through to 2011.
The ‘preferred’ status allows the agency to pitch for briefs across PR, corporate social responsibility, reputation management and other media projects. This caused MD Sue Souter to state: “We cannot wait to get started. “It is our first public sector appointment and reflects five years of high quality PR service provision in the private sector – not least Warburtons – for whom we have been running award-winning PR & CSR programmes.” “It is also an exciting development for reputation management. Senior PR professionals are ideally placed to advise food and drink companies on reputation as a whole. “We know how to put its nurturing and protection right at the top of a growth agenda.” Food Northwest was set up last year to push the region’s produce and services in this sector - a recognised priority within the Regional Economic strategy. www.souter-rmc.co.uk Something to add?
