Staffordshire Council seeks agency for £5m to £7m recruitment task | Print |  Email to a friend

Staffordshire County Council appears to be on the lookout for a single agency to handle a four-year contract that could be worth up to £7m (excluding VAT).
Staffordshire County Council appears to be on the lookout for a single agency to handle a four-year contract that could be worth up to £7m.

In a move that will no doubt interest a host of agencies throughout the North West and beyond, the public body is looking to appoint a firm to spearhead a host of activities from May of next year.

The bulk of the assignment will be focused on servicing the Council’s recruitment advertising needs, which, it is believed, will stretch across bodies such as Staffordshire Police force and Fire & Rescue, right down to local authority tasks for areas such as Cannock and Newcastle.

How-Do believes that the call to tender was only made available yesterday and that any interested parties have until the Christmas shut down to make their interest known to SCC. Those that do feel inclined to pitch will apparently need to show expertise over areas as diverse as; on and off line recruitment, internal marketing, external branding and marketing, research and general consultancy.

The average value for these services for the past three years has been £1.4m pa, but this could be set to rise with the new all-encompassing arrangement.
