Strange praise as Bella Design unveils new Meredith Thomas site | Print |  Email to a friend
Tuesday, 13 October 2009

They’re neither “arsey creatives” nor do they speak in a "hissy way."

Meredith Thomas gets digital overhaul from Bella Design
A to-the-point, if rather unusual recommendation from Meredith Thomas for Bella Design, which has just completed the PR consultancy’s new website.

“The whole process of designing our new website was painless. The service was prompt and attentive, the result was what I wanted and needed,” stated managing director Helen Thomas.

“I would not hesitate to recommend Bella Design because they aren't arsey creatives and they listen to the client, putting their own points in a non hissy way.”

Which begs the question, which creatives has the PR agency dealt with in the past...?

The new site includes a North West Property Diary, which enables user to check dates and copy events to their Google calendar.

“We were delighted to be instructed to work on the website of such a well established and respected PR company and are of course equally delighted they are happy with our work,” added Paul Watson of Bella Design in an non-hissy way.

EDIT: Helen Thomas has indeed responded to How-Do's question of which creatives she has dealt with in the past and it is printed with her permission below:

"The answer unfortunately is ‘too many for one lifetime’.  Too many who take offence at what they feel is ‘interference’ from the client (who pays for it) and fellow agencies who are asked for an opinion by the client, give it and then are hissed at. For ‘arsey’ , please read ‘seeing their arse’. I usually see it too.  Generally when I ask them to leave and not come back!

"Hope this suitably clarifies it."

Is this a £500 budget website as mentioned in the previous Bella story?

Hi Joe,
Actually Bella Design and the Budget Web Company are two distinct companies. Bella is for bespoke website designs, brochures, logos etc and the Budget Web Company is for the £500, 5 page websites.
Get in touch if you're interested in either.
Cheers,
