Tangerine defies market and pushes numbers up to 25 | Print |  Email to a friend

Tangerine MD Sandy Lindsay is confident that her agency can continue defying the current parlous market conditions, and as a result has just boosted staff numbers up to 25.

Tangerine MD Sandy Lindsay is confident that her agency can continue defying the current parlous market conditions, and as a result has just boosted staff numbers up to 25.
Lindsay: confident
Lindsay has taken on four new recruits at the Manchester-based business, which recently launched a new web presence, and appears confident of continued growth.

She stated: "We are of course keeping a close eye on market conditions and I would not want to anger the PR Gods by claiming the credit crunch is not biting, but things are looking good at the moment."

"We had a quiet August and I thought that was the first sign of a slow up, but since then people seem to have returned from holidays, ready to sort their communications out.

“PR usually does well in a recession and so far this seems to be holding true at Tangerine."

The new staffers are made up of three new account executives and a new events assistant.

The latter is Lucie Tweddle, previously of Golley Slater, who joins to support head of events Lindsay Cessford.
