Independent Manchester PR agency Tangerine has opened an office in central London headed by associate director Heather Butcher.
Tangerine, established by Sandy Lindsay, employs 18 staff in Manchester. The new office, close to Oxford Street in central London, has launched with two staff. Butcher said their plans call for the London office to be matching Manchester’s size within five years.
The new office has already picked up one client – Emmi UK, a division of the Swiss dairy multinational.
Heather Butcher Butcher was previously with William Murray PR in Croydon working with clients including Del Monte, McCains, Muller and Quorn. She began her career as a journalist with Reed Business Information working on Supermarketing and Hairdresser’s Journal.
“Tangerine is well established in the North West with an excellent client base and reputation and I am very excited about extending its reach.” said Butcher. “We will duplicate the successful formula in London.”
Tangerine recently launched a public affairs operation when it recruited Tris Brown from the NWDA.
Sandy Lindsay said: “The London office will benefit existing clients and will open up new opportunities for Tangerine in the South.”
