TBWA\Manchester has confirmed to How-Do that it is looking at making redundancies, as a result of the ghd account moving to a new agency.
McCallum Today, CEO Fergus McCallum said: “We are now re-organising following the movement of the ghd account and I can confirm that, as a result, we are unfortunately in a redundancy consultation process. We have acted quickly in order to minimise the number of posts at risk and as a result we expect the outcome to result in a small reduction in staff numbers." Earlier this year ghd held a brand review, following the appointment of a new brand director. In April McCallum told How-Do that the agency wouldn’t be re-pitching for the account, which it had held for more than 2 years. At the time he said it was a case of “moving forward.” It’s the second round of redundancies at the agency in a relatively short period of time. Something to add?
